World-class International Grains Symposium in Pretoria

Cereal Science and Technology-SA (CST-SA) in conjunction with the International Association for Cereal Science and Technology (ICC) hosted a successful International Grains Symposium recently at the University of Pretoria. The event, which explored variations on the theme ‘Quality and safety of grain crops and foods’, drew a large contingent of local and international expert speakers, including Dr Sam Millar, Campden BRI, UK; Dr Concha Collar, IATA-CSIC, Spain; Stanley Cauvain, Baketran, UK; Charles Loubersac d’Hotel, Chopin, France; Dr Jan Willem van der Kamp, TNO Quality of Life, The Netherlands; Gunnar Nilsson, Perten Instruments, Sweden; Dr Roland Poms, Secretary General International Association for Cereal Science and Technology, Austria; Dr Floyd Dowell, United States Department of Agriculture and Dr Mats Stading, Swedish Institute for Food and Biotechnology.
