GCT has been able to establish a certificated 0.357% P57 active/gram and up to 0.874% active/gram for its refined pharma grade through the proven use of its non-denaturing and active stabilisation process which produces up to 99.9994% bio-availability. This is considerably higher than any other product currently available, anywhere. The University of Stellenbosch documented that standard cultivated Hoodia Gordonii of three-four years old, has until now, only produced a P57 active content of 0.06% - 0.1%. Hoodia Gordonii plants from the same field and farm were divided and processed using DCD technology and the balance was processed using industry standard dry and milling extraction methods. The DCD plants produced 0.357% whilst the milling process elicited a result of only 0.170% active P57. Also important to note: the trials were conducted on cultivated Hoodia Gordonii which traditionally produces a yield of between four to five percent on wet product when dried and ground. By comparison, DCD Hoodia Gordonii has a yield of between 10% and 17% with a 14% median (100 to 400% higher powder volume than standard production methods).
DCD technology allows Hoodia Gordonii to be processed to a variety of particle sizes from 700 micron to less than 150 micron. This is 25 – 35% more compactable, readily liquefied into water or other liquid medium and can be kept in suspension with the pharma grade completely water soluble. This makes Hoodia Gordonii an extremely versatile product. A love/hate affair with Hoodia Gordonii has been raging for some time resulting in products across the globe being removed from the market. The dosage of active efficacy in these products were highly questionable and were a marketing hype rather than a fact. Green Cell Technologies has conducted comparative analyses with a number of products currently available in the market to illustrate how their new product compares.
Tests were conducted by independent university laboratories and it was conclusively demonstrated that 164 tablets is recommended in other products, compared to the 6 tablets of DCD Hoodia Gordonii with an undeniably higher efficacy. Hoodia Gordonii beyond P57
Whilst the world has remained fixated on P57 as the miracle weight loss molecule, additional field trials conducted by GCT have shown that use of the entire Hoodia Gordonii plant treated with the DCD process, produces results beyond appetite suppression.
In a trial conducted in late 2009 participants, consisting of males and females between the ages of 19 – 50 years, underwent blood tests for cholesterol, blood pressure and blood sugar levels before taking Hoodia Gordonii and were then re-measured 4 weeks later after taking Hoodia Gordonii. It was demonstrated in all cases, that blood pressure and cholesterol were lower; participants reported sharper focus; better bowel movements and improved sleep. The most important result, however, was that blood sugar levels were stabilised important in preparing the body for losing weight. Some participants who had spent years ‘starving’ their bodies through poor eating habits, noticed that their metabolism was re-booted and hunger was recreated, causing these participants to eat more whilst becoming fuller quicker. And after a period of 8 weeks, these participants also reported controlled appetites with stabilised blood sugar levels.
