New conditioning spiral at Rainbow

In December 2009, Dale Spiral Systems and Bakery Automation commissioned a brand new six ton/ hour spiral conditioning system at Rainbow Chicken’s Rustenburg factory. The system is 9,3m tall, with 44 tiers and 1060mm belt width. The equipment includes a centrally-mounted, compact planetary gearbox. A comprehensive clean-in-place and belt washing system was also specified for the high risk fresh chicken application.
