It is nearly that time of the year again! This year's Food Review/Symrise New Product Competition (NPC) winner will be announced on the 15 September, at an awards dinner hosted by Symrise at the Nelson Mandela Bay Hotel, in Cape Town.
This year's NPC has been one for the record books with the new labelling legislation and the recession, contributing to the lack of R&D in SA. Despite this, BOS Ice Tea, O'Ya Sweets, Vital Muesli, Chele Lite Mixers, Stream Drinks and Woolworth's Functional Snack Bars, all demonstrated innovation in tune with current local and global trends, and stand the chance of winning a trip to SIAL Paris, in 2012.
