The 2016 edition of All4Pack Paris concluded on a high note. Held from 14 to 17 November 2016, the show lived up to its reputation as the global meeting place for the packaging, processing, printing and handling industries. Of particular interest was the massive increase in visitor profiles from the EMEA region.
All4pack has confirmed its status as the global meeting place with 87 815 visitors attending the show.
The 2016 event saw a noticeable improvement in visitor quality, show organisers Comexposium indicate. Top buyers, decision makers, facility directors, import and export departments, and those involved in research and development attended. French minister of state commerce, Martine Pinville states, ‘We are very happy with the quality of visitor. We knew that All4Pack was going to face some challenges this year. The show has confirmed its solidity and appeal, with foreign buyers accounting for 40 per cent of total attendance in 2016, as opposed to 35 per cent in previous years.’
Business meetings in particular were very successful with more than 500 tailored appointments. 36 per cent involved visitors from the African continent. ‘We will be developing this format for the 2018 edition. What matters in exhibitions today is the quality and matchmaking aspect of meetings,’ enthuses Veronique Sestrieses, exhibition director.
As both a laboratory and an observatory for supply and demand in the area of innovation in packaging, processing, printing and handling, All4Pack Paris 2016 provided professionals with powerful capabilities in monitoring and deciphering industry trends.
