IFFA 2016: great perspectives for the meat sector

IFFA is one of the meat industry’s biggest events. Held from 7 to 12 May, the show will welcome a record number of 1 000 exhibitors, including all market leaders, who are showing their top innovations on an area of around 110 000m2 in the fully booked-up exhibition halls. New products, technologies and solutions for all stages of the meat-processing chain are the focal points of their presentations and of the complementary programme of events.

IFFA is one of the most important trade fairs for manufacturers of machines and equipment for meat processing and packaging and they are making their presentations in the western section of the Exhibition Centre, in Halls 8, 9 and 11. State of the art equipment this year includes products for resource efficiency, sustainability, food safety, traceability, increasing automation and product and process optimisation.

IFFA is also a must for the butchers’ trade and the corresponding products and services are located in Hall 4. There, you will find suppliers of packaging materials and the complete spectrum revolving around the butchery industry as well as top suppliers of ingredients, spices, additives and casings.

The comprehensive spectrum of products presented by the exhibitors is rounded off by a multi-faceted complementary programme of events that reflects topics of importance to the sector.
