Gebo Cermex, an innovative packaging line solutions provider has received the official mark “Vitrine Industrie du Futur” which was awarded by the Alliance Industrie Du Futur (AIF). This was in recognition of the company’s efforts to introduce, develop and implement Industry 4.0 initiatives at its plant in Saint Laurent sur Sèvre, France.
The announcement of the award took place early in December by the French secretary of State in charge of Industry, Christophe Sirugue. He said the company was invited to present its award-winning Virtual Commissioning Project at the second Franco-German Conference on digitalisation.
The Franco-German Conference was held on 13 December in Berlin. Attendees at the event included 300 high-ranking representatives of start-ups, international companies and public institutions. It also included ministers and leaders from both France and Germany.
