South African brand, Greenleaf Extra Virgin Olive oil has won a Silver Medal for Quality at the 2020 London International Olive Oil Competition (LIOOC).
This sterling achievement in the British capital follows hot on the heels of them scooping a Silver Medal at the New York International Olive Oil Competition (NYIOOC).

International recognition
The annual London International Olive Oil Competition attracts entries from producers across the globe vying for international recognition. Following rigorous scrutiny by a panel of 20 international olive oil judges, medals are awarded in four categories: Quality, Health Claim, Design and Infused Oils.
“We are delighted. The Greenleaf Olive Company was established with the vision of producing world-class olive oil at reasonable prices. These international achievements are a testimony to what can be achieved on home soil.”
Winning oil
Greenleaf Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a medium-intensity, versatile EVOO with notes of herbs, tomatoes, walnut and olive leaf. The winning oil is blended from Picual, Koroneiki and Arbequina cultivars of olives which are harvested from the trees at the optimal point. The oils are extracted within 2-3 hours of the olives being picked, maximising flavour and freshness.
Greenleaf Extra Virgin Olive Oil is approved by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of South Africa and available in 250ml, 500ml and 1 litre recyclable glass bottles at major retailers throughout South Africa.
