HERMA GmbH, a leading specialist in packaging and product labelling, continues to push the boundaries of efficiency, precision, and sustainability in labelling technology. At Fachpack 2025, HERMA will introduce groundbreaking systems that address the evolving needs of industries such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, chemicals, and logistics.

From eco-friendly labelling solutions to modular systems tailored for top performance, HERMA’s newest innovations prove why they are the benchmark in European labelling solutions.

High performance meets sustainability

Debuting in Hall 3C, Stand 322, HERMA’s eco label applicator sets a new standard in high-efficiency labeling. Integrated into the newly redesigned 652C model, this applicator excels in top-and-bottom labelling applications while maintaining competitive pricing. Despite its affordability, the HERMA eco ensures unmatched mechanical quality and precision.

Key Highlights:

  • Exceptional speed and accuracy: The HERMA eco boasts a master encoder function for precise synchronisation with conveyor speeds. It accurately labels even at up to 30 meters per minute with labels as wide as 160 millimetres.
  • Modular design: The 652C can be customised with options such as the HERMA 500 thermal transfer printer or a hot-foil unit for variable data printing on both sides.
  • Friction feeder integration: Paired with a Köra-Packmat friction feeder, the system supports both double-sided labelling and single-surface applications.

HERMA eco not only demonstrates efficiency but also aligns with sustainability goals by reducing operational costs without compromising on performance.

Printing without consumables:

At Fachpack, HERMA will also feature its 362E double-sided labelling machine, which revolutionises variable data printing with zero consumables. Integrated with a UV laser from Domino, this system creates premium-quality prints directly within the label material itself.

Why it matters:

  • The print is smudge-proof, scratch-resistant, and immune to chemical exposure, making it ideal for pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and chemical industries.
  • This innovative approach eliminates the need for ink or transfer ribbons, presenting a sustainable alternative to traditional printing methods.

HERMA will also showcase the 752C labelling machine, which combines sealing and labelling functions. A live demonstration will feature clamshell popcorn containers, illustrating how labels can simultaneously seal and decorate packaging—a concept gaining traction in sustainable packaging trends.

HERMA’s holistic labeling ine: Modular systems for every industry

HERMA’s labelling solutions underscore their ability to adapt to all label types, production scenarios, and speeds through innovative yet modular designs.

The HERMA Eco and HERMA 500: At the core of the labelling line

  • HERMA 500 Flexibility: Widely acknowledged for its user-friendliness and seamless integration capabilities, it supports all label widths and speeds while simplifying training, maintenance, and installation.
  • Integration with logistics: HERMA’s Print & Apply systems are designed for flexibility, integrating effortlessly into existing production lines. Modular components ensure rapid product changeovers and reliable performance.

Semi-Automatic labelling machines for smaller batch sizes

HERMA rounds out its offerings with semi-automatic labelling solutions ideal for smaller-scale operations:

  • HERMA 414: Perfect for top labelling applications.
  • HERMA 211: Designed for wrap-around labelling of cylindrical products.

These machines offer cost-effective yet precise solutions, catering especially to businesses requiring smaller batch processing.
