Polyoak Packaging has a passion for creating an economy were plastic is valued and never becomes waste.

Plastic is a perfect circular economy material, which can be recycled again and again to make many useful items, including new bottles.

Over the years, Polyoak has reached numerous sustainability milestones. It pioneered the use of recycled plastic in new bottles, and through light-weighting has reduced the weight of its PET bottles by 30%. Polyoak launched Africa’s lightest dairy closure and the first milk bottle made from 30% plant-based plastic. It was also the first converter to pledge to preventing plastic pellets from leaking into the environment and it is a founding member of the South African Plastics Pact to eliminate waste.
