TNA Solutions is set to unveil its groundbreaking tna conti-pro PEL 3 fryer for pellet and extruded snacks at PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2025, located at stand W-2350. Alongside this, TNA will exhibit a lineup of intelligent, integrated distribution and packaging systems. As a trusted partner to the food industry, TNA continues to enhance manufacturers’ growth and operational resilience through seamless production flow, efficiency maximisation, and waste reduction.

The growing North American demand for pellet and extruded snacks highlights TNA’s relevance in the market. The extrusion segment alone is valued at $9.36 billion USD in 2024 and is forecasted to grow at a 3.27% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) through 2033. Manufactured in the United States and featured at the expo for the first time, the tna conti-pro PEL 3 fryer offers a low-oil-volume design, ensuring high performance, efficiency, and quality. With its four-belt system, it delivers even frying, comprehensive de-oiling, precise temperature control, and continuous oil filtration, maintaining consistent product quality and reducing waste.

TNA’s intelligent equipment line-up

In addition to the tna conti-pro PEL 3 fryer, TNA will showcase its modular and highly efficient systems:

  • The tna roflo® HM3 horizontal motion conveyor, designed for gentle, consistent product transfer with minimal breakage, and offering flexible distribution to multiple packaging lines.
  • The “Perfect Pair”: The tna robag® 3e vertical form, fill, and seal system, paired with the tna auto-splice 3 film-splicing technology, eliminates manual roll changes and maximises uptime.

Meeting snack industry trends

The Vice President of TNA North America, Mukul Shukla, sheds light on current snack trends in the US. With consumers gravitating toward portion control, multi-packs, single-serve formats, and clean-label innovations, snack manufacturers are driven to provide high-protein, high-fiber, and “better-for-you” options. Exciting flavor fusions such as “swicy” (sweet + spicy) and collaborations are capturing consumer attention, reshaping trends.

As Shukla notes, snack manufacturers face an important directive — to meet demand by “doing more with less complexity, and doing it reliably.” The seamless integration offered by TNA’s ecosystem allows producers to optimise distribution, seasoning, and packaging operations while achieving superior flexibility and efficiency.

Real-world results achieved

TNA’s integrated systems are already revolutionizing snack production. A leading popcorn manufacturer transitioned to a complete TNA line, incorporating the tna intelli-flav® and tna robag®. By doing so, the producer achieved sustained speeds of 140 bags per minute on 11g packs, while minimising waste to under 1%. Further improvements such as precision ingredient dosing, automated kernel removal, and wet-dry seasoning functionality streamlined production and elevated profitability.
